The Nevada City Ladies Aid and Friends Association (LAFA) is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian, and non-discriminatory organization.  Formed in 2019, LAFA  supports fundraising projects and programs in order to bring as broad an audience as possible, a graphic historical and educational experience using reenacting skills; authentic period dress; and material culture.  The goals of LAFA are to support the Montana Heritage Commission Living History program vision and mission of historic education and interpretation.  Nevada City LAFA is a 501(c)3 organization with membership available to all interested individuals.
